Mr. Aftab Mahmood Butt has been KAPCO’s Chief Executive since August 1, 2008. Prior to being appointed as a Chief Executive, he was a Director of the Company. Mr. Butt is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the corporate and finance sector in senior management positions.
A Chartered Accountant with 18+ years of experience and a Six Sigma Black Belt, Mr. Ali was an integral part of the team which set up Advisory practice in EY Pakistan. Over the years, Ali has gathered extensive experience in deploying cutting edge concepts and technology for developing solutions for a wide range of organizations, developing talent and contributing towards thought leadership on the subjects of Risk and Performance Improvement.
Mr. Asad Aleem is a partner in PWC’s Audit and Business Advisory services and has over 20 years of experience in providing advisory and assurance services to various international and domestic clients of all sizes across a variety of sectors. He has vast experience in providing assurance and advisory services including buy and sell side advisory, corporate structuring, business valuations and other corporate advisory services.
Mr. Asim Zulfiqar is one of the oldest of our Alumni. After completing his articles with PWC, through his dedication and commitment towards his hard work, he quickly excelled through the ranks to become a partner. He is currently the country head of PWC’s taxation services and also provides tax consultancy to numerous governmental organizations and multinational companies.
Mr. Kamran Azim is currently the CEO of Taleem Finance Company Limited. Prior to this, Mr. Azim was the COO of Kashf Foundation. Mr. Azim is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and started his career with KPMG from where he went on to work with Total Parco Pakistan Ltd. Mr. Azim has a vast range of experience in financial advisory services as well as the corporate sector.
Mr. Kamran is a partner at KPMG Taseer Hadi, and is responsible for developing and expanding Income Tax, Sales Tax, Corporate Advisory and IT Advisory Services in the areas of ERP Practice, IS Governance & Performance, Project Risk Management, Security, Privacy & Continuity and IT Audit at KPMG. He has an experience of more than 15 years.
Mr. Muhammad Ali Zeb has over 25 years of experience in the Manufacturing, Financial and Insurance Sectors. Mr. Ali Zeb is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and was awarded a gold medal in Cost Accounting and he is highly regarded by PAC as he was the first ever Gold Medalist of PAC. He started his professional career in 1995 and is currently serving as the CEO of Adamjee Insurance.
Muhammad Awais is Council member ICAP and Partner at EY. He is associated with the tax service line of EY, Lahore since 1998. A fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a law graduate from University of the Punjab, Pakistan. He has held numerous professional positions during his career, including serving as President of the Lahore Tax Bar Association, Chairman of the Fiscal Laws Committee, Lahore High Court Bar Association and Chairman of the Northern Regional Committee ICAP.
Mr. Farooq is currently the CEO of Jura Energy and has previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of SEPL. Prior to joining SEPL, Mr. Farooq was employed with A.F. Ferguson & Co. where he managed accounting, tax planning and audits for various domestic and international oil & gas concerns from May 2005 to January 2008. He has significant expertise in finance and sector specifically economics.
Mr. Rana Usman Khan has been a member of ICAP since 1994. A seasoned professional, who has worked in top audit firms throughout Pakistan for more than 15 year. Currently, Mr. Khan is a partner and board member of Deloitte Yousuf Adil, and is working with a variety of firm’s largest clients. Prior to joining Deloitte, Mr. Khan was heading the accounts function of one of the largest listed telecom company in Pakistan.
Mr. Shauzab Ali is SECP Commissioner for Specialized Companies Division, Investor Education & International Relations Department, Anti Money Laundering Department, Information Systems and Technology Department, Information Security Department. Mr. Shauzab Ali is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of professional experience with focus on development banking and finance, corporate banking, project finance, corporate finance, portfolio management, planning & budgeting and financial management.
