In the continuation of the aim of the Founder of PAC Mr. Ishfaq Ahmed (Late), PAC is utilizing all his capabilities to promote the profession of Accountancy and provide quality education. “Sports are necessary for good health” as said by Mr. Ishfaq Ahmed and many other scholars of the World. Realizing this idea PAC arranges Sports each year. PAC – GRW Campus arranged its 2nd annual sports day on 3rd February 2008. Many games were played including Cricket, Tug –o– war, Table Tennis, Chess, Arm Wrestling, Race and others.

Sports day was started with recitation of Holy Quran followed by Naat and then National Anthem. First of all Cricket matches were started, In which there were ten teams six from CAT, One from CA and three from ACCA. Five round matches were played between ten teams through which five teams reached in next round. First round was played before lunch. At the end of first round lunch was served.

Cricket, Table Tennis and chess were played, simultaneously. Marvelous skirmishing was seen in chess competition. First semi final of cricket was played between CAT Batch 9 – 11(Lions) and CAT Batch 12 & 13 (Panthers). This match was really looking like a match between Pakistan & India but after a big struggle Lions won this match. Second semi final was played between ACCA Batch 9 – 11(Bears) & ACCA CAT Qfd (sharks). This match was won by ACCA CAT Qfd(sharks).

At the end of 2nd semi final of Cricket athletics were started. These events were the real joy. The winners of these games were as follows:

Besides all competitions of boys there was also fun for girls. Some indoor games like Chess, Table Tennis, Luddoo, Keram Board were arranged for them. They also enjoyed a lot in these games.

By observing overall performance and points of all teams, ACCA CAT Qfd(sharks) were named for ISHFAQ AHMED TROPHY for this year.

At the end of all games prize distribution ceremony was started. All winners and runner ups were awarded with prizes and all these were presented by the honorable guest Chairperson of PAC Mrs. Nighat Ishfaq and Central Vice Principal Mr. Salahuddin. Thus, this sports day was apparently ended, but it last in our memories for a long time.
