Overview

Since 1978m the certified information system auditor (CISA) program, sponsored by the information Systems Audit and control Association (ISACA), has been the globally accepted standard of achievement among IS audit, control and security professionals. With a growing demand for professionals possessing IS audit, control, and security skills, CISA has become the certification program preferred by individuals and organizations around the world.The course aims to equip you learn to define, design, setup and examine a better IT environment focusing especially on ERP & paper less setup. CISA exams are conducted worldwide twice a year in June & December and it is suggested that those who want to participate should undergo a thorough training in matters related to IS Audit Process, Technical Infrastructure and Operational Practices, risk Management, Business Continuity and Business Process Evaluation, among others.

Recommended Participants

The Course is useful for those professionals who are: Chartered Accountants ( Full qualified or part qualified),IT Professionals (minimum Graduation level). Other professionals Accountants like ACCAs, ACMAs, etc. (Full Qualified or Part Qualified). MBAs, M. Coms, and other Commerce or IT based Masters degree holders and Bankers.

State Bank Regulations now require that Banks/DFls, should get their IT related internal controls audited by internal/External Auditors.Moreover, Bank/DFsl, are also being encouraged to establish an independent internal information System Audit Function for regular monitoring. Course Conduct

Based on the Course Material provided by PAC, the primary focus will be upon:

     Introduction to the CISA Curriculum and Exam
     Overview of the six content areas as determined by ISACA on which the candidates are examined.
     Determine the lever of knowledge required for the six content areas to meet the examiner's expectations.
     Particular topics which are popular CISA questions.
     What the testing conditions will be, after having discussed " Model" answers to questions in each of the
        six content areas.
     Reference tools.
