OBJECTIVES
To assist the ICAP in its objective of disseminating computer education to the future accountants in accordance with the requirements of commerce, industry and the profession of accountancy at large. To train business executives who can use computers effectively in their daily business operations.

TRAINING FACILITIES
We have competent staff, air-conditioned class rooms and well-equipped computer laboratory for students` training. Students are theoretically briefed and are supported by practical application in the computer lab where they get hands-on-training on the latest computers in a LAN environment. Relevant up-to-date material for computer training is also available in PAC?s library.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY
PAC provides the necessary concepts and technical knowledge on relevant topics covering all aspects of educational and business environment. The faculty at PAC prepare students for a top position in a dynamic and competitive environment by:
Providing all the necessary conceptual and hands-on skills;

     Imparting technical knowledge on relevant topics;
     Leading towards professional excellence;
     Immersing in intensive training classes

Course Aim

     To give students an essential knowledge of computer, so that they can understand what the computer is?
     To develop knowledge of office documentation through
        MS Word XP, calculation related work through MS Excel XP and finally about data bases through MS Access XP.
     To develop professional skills by converting their work into a professional presentation.
     To develop better managerial skills through MS Project.


Teaching and Learning Methodology

a) Lectures:
Lectures are most effective technique to deliver knowledge to the students. You can use slides, cross questioning and discussion tools to make it more effective. Always recap previous lecture before starting any lecture and make conclude your lecture nicely after every lecture.

b) Assignments:

c) Presentation:
To enhance the confidence and improve the communication skills of the students their must be class presentation against different topics during the course. And the final project should be accepted after Final presentation in the class. We assigned different topics to the students to prepare and then present in front of class and after the presentation make correct the knowledge.

STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE COMPULSORY COMPUTER TRAINING
Modular Foundation Course (MFCs)
Students are required to complete the course before appearing in Module A and submit Course of Computer Practical Training (CCPT) to Examination Directorate.

Prospective Foundation Candidates (PFCs)
PFCs shall also undergo this course before appearing in Module A and shall submit CCPT in this respect to Examination Directorate at the time of submission of application form for Module A examination.

Trainee Students at Professional Level (i.e. those Trainees Students who have already passed CA Intermediate/Foundation Examinations and will be attempting Professional Examinations)
Students of Professional level who have not done IT software hands-on-training at an earlier stage should undergo the course on software packages as mentioned above and obtain a CCPT. This course may be done any time during their training but before applying for membership.
Requirements for Completion of Practical IT Courses Prior to Applying for Membership
Candidates for membership of the Institute, who have passed all examinations of the ICAP and are fully eligible for membership otherwise shall undergo the above mentioned IT Courses before applying for membership of the Institute and submit CCPT alongwith their application for membership.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION OF COMPUTER PRACTICAL TRAINING (CCPT)
On completion of the course for ICAP students, every student will be required to appear in a test. On passing the test he will be awarded a CCPT (Course of Computer Practical Training).
