What Is ACCA
ACCA stands for The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. It is compatible with CA and ACMA of Pakistan. The holder of this qualification is known as Chartered Certified Accountant. It was founded in 1904 in England and is today the largest Professional Accountancy Body in the UK and the largest to operate on an international basis. It has over 200,000 qualified members and more than 450,000 students working towards its qualification in over 160 countries.

Libraries
Libraries of PAC are very spacious and contain a large number of books on professional and general subjects. A variety of newspapers, journals and magazines are also available in these libraries.


Computer Lab
PAC's most modern computer labs are equipped with the latest computers. Labs are not only providing hands-on experience to the students in LAN and Windows-NT environment but are also bringing them in contact with the latest developments in the field of information technology like electronic mail and internet. These labs are also approved for holding of Computer-Based Examination of ACCA (UK).


Study tours and Co-curricular activities
Study tours of industry, business & finance houses and special lectures on topics of current importance are arranged for the students. Facilities for indoor and outdoor games are also available. Sports, debates and quiz competitions are also arranged periodically. PAC also arranges recreational tours. The Prize Distribution Ceremonies of the Academy are well-known for their decent glamour.

ELIGIBILITY

Route - A: Professional Examination Route
Age : 18 Years
Qualification :
2 Passes in A-Level with grades A to E; if not, then IELTS 6.5 band or TOEFL with CBE 170/PBE 500 scores.
PIPFA (Intermediate Stage)
C.A. Inter / BAC/ Foundation
B.Com / B.A. / B.Sc.


Route - B: Mature Student Entry Route (MSER)
Age : 21 Years
Qualification : No formal academic qualification
This allows you to register as an external student of
ACCA and you are given four consecutive examination
attempts to complete papers 1.1 and 1.2 from Part-1.
Upon successful completion, you will be transferred to
the main student register and continue your ACCA
examinations sequentially.


Route - C: CAT Route
Qualification : Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) .qualified
students are eligible for direct entry to Part-2 of ACCA?

EXAMINATION & REGISTRATION WITH ACCA (UK)
Examination: Registration Date June attempt 31st December of the previous year December attempt 15th August of the same year.

THE RULES FOR ACCA
1. There are 14 exams papers to complete.
2. There are two levels, each of which contains two modules - i.e. 4 modules in total.
3. Students can sit for maximum four papers in one exam attempt.
4. The pass marks for each paper are 50%.
5. Compulsory on-line 'Professional Ethics module.
